Glebe House

Glebe House was a private residential alteration located in Sydney’s inner-city. The house was originally an early 20th Century historic workers cottage that had some unfortunate additions in the 1950’s & 70’s. The project involved the removal of these first floor additions, connecting the rooms into a large continuous space that flowed into the lush garden.
To create a more generous main bedroom a staircase in the front room was removed and replaced with built-in wardrobe. An additional bathroom and study bathroom was then added to create a more contemporary layout.
This project involved hands-on experience as a contractor to bring the project from it’s initial design and documentation phase to life.  Resulting in a haptic knowledge of the entire project.
